The Daedric Artifacts in Skyrim are highly sought-after items granted to only the most persistent Dragonborns. These artifacts are owned by the powerful Daedric Princes and Princesses of Oblivion. Each artifact possesses unique abilities and characteristics that can greatly impact gameplay and aid players in their adventures. So let’s crack on and rank all 16 Daedric Artifacts based on their usefulness, power, and overall impact in the game.

16) Azura's Star / The Black Star

Ok, so firstly let’s start with the Black Star, the reason it’s so low in this list is you can’t smash anyone's head in with it. But, that doesn’t make it useless. Bestowed by Azura, these artifacts function as powerful soul gems. Azura's Star can trap any soul, while The Black Star captures human souls specifically. They provide an infinite source of soul gems for enchanting and recharging weapons, making them invaluable for any adventurer.

15) Dawnbreaker

Gifted by Meridia, the Dawnbreaker is a radiant one-handed sword that deals extra damage to undead foes. It has a chance to create a fiery explosion upon defeating undead enemies, making it an essential weapon against hordes of undead throughout Skyrim.

14) Mehrunes' Razor

Given by Mehrunes Dagon, Mehrunes' Razor is a deadly dagger with a small chance of instantly killing enemies. This artifact is particularly useful for stealth-oriented characters and assassins.

13) Ebony Mail

Bestowed by Boethiah, the Ebony Mail is a powerful armor that provides protection and muffled movement. It also poisons nearby enemies and enhances sneaking, making it a perfect choice for stealthy characters.

12) Spellbreaker

Granted by Peryite, the Spellbreaker is a unique shield that creates a ward, blocking incoming spells and dragon breath. It offers invaluable protection against powerful mages and dragons.

11) Volendrung

Clavicus Vile offers Volendrung, a mighty warhammer that deals significant damage. It has a chance to paralyze foes and allows for faster swinging than other warhammers, making it a devastating weapon for warriors.

10) The Mace of Molag Bal

Obtained from Molag Bal, the Mace of Molag Bal drains the stamina and magicka of struck enemies, while also dealing substantial damage. It possesses a soul trap enchantment, making it a formidable choice for warriors.

9) Skeleton Key

The Skeleton Key, obtained from Nocturnal, is an unbreakable lockpick that improves the lockpicking skill. While it is not a traditional weapon, it grants invaluable access to locked areas and treasures.

8) Ring of Namira

Obtained from Namira, the Ring of Namira enhances the player's ability to feed on corpses, granting health and stamina regeneration. It is useful for characters focused on vampirism or those seeking alternative means of healing.

7) Ring of Hircine

Bestowed by Hircine, the Ring of Hircine grants the ability to transform into a werewolf multiple times per day. It is particularly beneficial for characters specializing in lycanthropy.

6) Oghma Infinium

Given by Hermaeus Mora, the Oghma Infinium is a powerful tome that grants skill increases in chosen paths. It allows players to boost their skills and progress more rapidly.

5) Masque of Clavicus Vile

Offered by Clavicus Vile, the Masque of Clavicus Vile enhances the player's speechcraft and bartering skills. It provides additional gold during transactions and can be useful for diplomatic characters.

4) Mace of Molag Bal (Molag Bal's Quest)

An alternate version of the Mace of Molag Bal, acquired through Molag Bal's quest, has a different appearance but retains the same enchantments and abilities.

3) Rueful Axe

Despite its unique appearance, the Rueful Axe, obtained from Clavicus Vile's quest, falls lower on the list due to its lackluster stats compared to other artifacts. However, it can still be an intriguing choice for collectors or role-playing purposes.

2) Sanguine Rose

Given by Sanguine, the Sanguine Rose is a staff that summons a Dremora to fight alongside the player. It provides powerful additional firepower in battle.

1) Wabbajack

Granted by Sheogorath, the Wabbajack is a staff that randomly transforms enemies into various creatures or objects. Its unpredictable nature makes it both a humorous and chaotic artifact, suitable for those who seek entertainment and unconventional combat.
