This Dark Souls Remastered unlimited souls glitch is so easy, it takes seconds to do, and you can do it at any level, at any point in the game. It still works right now, and to be honest, it will always work, considering the last update for Dark Souls Remastered was back in 2018. As always you can scroll to the bottom of this post to watch the video if you don't want to read.
Quick note before we start: if you're looking to duplicate Boss Souls you'll need to click here, if you're looking for the Nintendo Switch version of this glitch click here, and finally, if you want to duplicate souls on PC click here. So, let's get into it!
STEP 1
So to start with, you're going to need any soul item, such as a Soul of an Unnamed Soldier, or Soul of a Lost Undead. No you can't use boss souls for this glitch, for that click here.

You'll also need a stack of arrows. The more arrows you have, the more souls you're going to get from this glitch. You can get a stack of 999 Wooden Arrows for 3000 souls from the merchant in the Undead Parish. It's right near the beginning of the game.

STEP 2
Move the soul item to the second slot in your menu. Just click on it, click change order, and start moving it into place.

Using the directional buttons on your controller, scroll over to the arrows tab.

Select the stack of arrows and press drop

select 999 (or the highest amount you have) and then press cancel.

STEP 3
Now press L1 (PlayStation) / LB (Xbox) to scroll to the system tab. Scroll down (NOT UP) to the brightness menu.

Now with a very small delay between presses (almost at the exact same time) press X & R1 (PlayStation) / A & RB (Xbox). If done right, you'll have glitched two menus on top of each other like the picture below. If you accidentally shift tabs, you can just shift back to the system tab and keep trying. Just don't click out of the menus or you'll need to start again at the arrow dropping section.

From here, hit OK and scroll down (NOT UP) to quit game.

When you've hit quit game, another quantity screen will appear, select 999 (or the most arrows you have) and hit OK.

Now you'll pop the 1 soul item that was in your second slot, but it'll be times by 999, essentially duplicating your souls. Do this as many times as you want for unlimited levels in Dark Souls Remastered.
